We have the flexibility to structure the optimal portfolio for the individual investor.
Investors ■ Institutional ■ Corporate Pension Funds
Cooke & Bieler has been managing separate accounts for institutional clients since the 1960s. Since the 1970s, institutions have represented over two-thirds of the firm’s business.
The firm has about 100 institutional clients divided into four broad groups:
- Corporate Pension Plans
- Endowments/Foundations
- Taft-Hartley Plans
- Public Funds
Corporate pension plans have been an important segment of the Cooke & Bieler client list for over 30 years. We currently have about 17 corporate pension plan clients and these clients tend to be larger in size than the average Cooke & Bieler client. Some of these clients have been investing with Cooke & Bieler for over 30 years. For those clients, we often work closely with consultants who introduce us, measure our performance, and help explain our philosophy.
